Bokpil and author Sabira Stahlberg have engaged in a campaign to provide computers for distance learning to the school in Golyamo Novo village, Bulgaria.
Teaching English to minority learners proved to be a challenge, especially when the learners had to get acquainted with new methods of learning at the same time.
My pupils in Bulgaria were used to a more traditional form of teaching. I wanted to propose my learning activities through new methodologies, which could motivate and inspire them.
My experience with Easy to Read books started a few years ago. I went to Bulgaria as a volunteer, helping minority pupils to learn English through new teaching approaches.
