Easy to Read books for supporting minority and endangered languages are discussed by Sabira Stahlberg and Fazile Nasretdin in a special issue of Journal of Endangered Languages.

The article describes the experiences in creating a new Tatar Easy Language and possibilities for the use of Easy to Read literature for learning, maintaining and developing languages.
